The LeakBan LBSC-1000 is a specialized sensing cable designed to detect water presence along its length, making it ideal for environments where water leakage could pose significant risks. It functions as part of a larger system that includes the LBMM (master module) and LBSM (slave module), with which it communicates via the RS485 protocol.
Water Detection: The LBSC-1000 instantly senses water leakage or intrusion and sends a signal to the master module (LBMM) through the slave module (LBSM). This immediate detection allows for quick response to potential issues.
Alarm and Location Identification: Upon receiving a signal, the LBMM and LBSM modules trigger an alarm and pinpoint the exact location of the leakage, aiding in swift corrective action.
Ease of Installation: The sensing cables come in standard lengths, pre-terminated with circular plastic connectors that ensure correct polarity and connection. Multiple cables can be connected to cover distances up to 1 km, making it versatile for different on-site conditions.
Durability: The LBSC-1000 is built with two continuity wires and two sensing wires coated with conductive material for corrosion resistance. The wires are arranged in a spiral within a deep groove on a twisted spacer, preventing false alarms, even when laid on metal surfaces.
Construction: The spacer is made from crosslinked rigid plastic, offering excellent abrasion and chemical resistance. The cable is thin, lightweight, flexible, and maintains its position once installed, making it reliable in various environments.
