MI mineral insulated series resistance heat trace cables are used in a variety of industrial applications including oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, power generation, gas storage. These cables meet the requirements for industrial freeze protection, high temperature process maintenance and heat tracing. They are also excellent for areas where good corrosion resistance is required.
MI cables and elements are ideal for industrial freeze protection, high temperature maintenance of process and areas where good corrosion resistance are required. The cables are enabled to operate at high temperatures for long periods of time in extremely harsh enviroments. For example, petro-chemical, reactor vessels and other applications where the integrity of the cable is the most important. MI cable offers excellent corrosive properties against a wide range of organic acids and alkalis in combination with a high temperature withstand capability.
