PYEX-SS-EK Termination Kit for Constant Wattage Cable
It can be used for monitoring heat trace systems for freeze protection in water pipes and for temperature protection in fuel supply lines. These systems consist of heating cables installed along the pipes and controlled by thermostats to maintain a specific temperature range.
The PYEX-SS-EK is designed as a low profile end termination kit for parallel monitoring heating cables FBL, FBH, FBX and FBZ. Service temperature range is -50°C to 200°C. ATEX and IECEx certified for use in hazardous areas. It provides excellent electrical insulation and ultimate mechanical protection as an ideal combination of a molded silicone rubber end seal and a stainless steel cover. This kit does not require a heat gun or torch for installation.
